GREATWORTH INN ANNOUNCEMENT
Following the government’s latest announcement on Wednesday 16th December it seems we remain in Tier 2 and we have therefore taken the tough decision to only re-open Thursday, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for the foreseeable future.
To remind you of the ruling in Tier 2; for us it means that:
a) We can only serve alcohol if you are eating a "substantial meal"
b) Only one household can sit together in the premises
c) Yet 6 people can still sit together outside
d) Last orders at 10:00pm but you must leave the premises by 11:00pm. The ruling is that once you have finished eating, given a reasonable amount of time to digest your food, you must leave the premises
The Kitchen & Pub will therefore will be open 6:00pm – 10:00pm Thursday, Friday and Saturdays and 12:00pm – 2:00pm on Sundays.
As before TAKEAWAY Food & Drinks are available during this time but pre-booking of food is essential, whilst not for drinks.
IF YOU WISH TO EAT IN YOU MUST PRE-BOOK YOUR TABLE AND YOUR CHOICE OF FOOD AT THE TIME OF BOOKING YOUR TABLE
We are a "Wet sales" led pub and obviously this ruling will have a detrimental effect on US and our drinkers and for that we apologise but unfortunately we have to abide by the rules.
If you would like to reserve a table call us 01295 521426. Please note: NO CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 12 ARE PERMITTED ON THESE PREMISES during this time.
A full Covid 19 Risk Assessment has been undertaken in line with Covid Regulations June 2020 and Strict Rules & Guidelines will be in place to safeguard the Health, Safety and Welfare of our customers and ourselves.
All patrons to be seated at tables, table service applies. When not seated face coverings MUST be worm.
GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES ON CUSTOMERS ATTENDING A PREMISES
All Patrons will either provide your Name, Address and contact details, or click on the Government NHS App, a poster will be displayed throughout the premises. This is required for your safety in the event there is a local outbreak and you need to be contacted by the relevant Department.
